Act 25 - New provisions protecting personal information

Key obligations regarding the protection of personal data.

Since September 2022, our company has been required to appoint a person responsible for the protection of personal information and to publish their title and contact information on our website.

In the event of a confidentiality incident, we must keep a record of all incidents. If your privacy is compromised, prompt action will be taken to reduce the risk of harm to the individuals concerned. Our company must also notify the Commission and the individuals concerned of any incident presenting a serious risk of harm.

We must comply with the new framework governing the disclosure of personal information without the consent of the individual concerned, whether in the context of a commercial transaction or for study, research, or statistics purposes.
